Please keep in mind that these breeds are straightrun, which means they are not sorted by sex at birth. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for any roosters. We have decided to only provide straightrun for most breeds as it is difficult and stressful for the young chicks to undergo vent sexing. We want what is best for our chicks and do not believe it is fair to cause them unnecessary pain right after hatching. If it is important to you to avoid roosters, we suggest looking into our autosexing breeds. Roosters can be ethically raised for meat, pet food, and of course make excellent flock guardians. They show great care and affection for their hens and surprisingly, often become some of the best farm friends.

Olive egger chickens are a mixed-breed chicken with delightful, amusing personalities that many people add to their flock due to the fact that they lay eggs in a wide variety of colors, including grey, brown, deep brown, olive and green. These chicks are straightrun and are not able to be sexed

Our Easter eggers are a mix of ameraucana and welsummer and black copper marans for beautifully colored eggs some will be first generation and some second. They are friendly, cold hearty, heat tolerant and have wonderful egg production, Closer to 250 eggs per year. They can range in how soon they start laying, but on average are around 24 weeks.
