This mix is built from my Auntie Flo’s beloved family recipe: a chewy-centred, lightly crisp-edged chocolate chip cookie that has been shared across generations. We’ve taken that nostalgic classic and brought it to life with freshly milled organic wheat flour, warm brown sugar, real vanilla bean, and a whisper of sourdough depth.
Perfect for busy days, gifting, late-night cravings, or baking with kids — this mix delivers bakery-style results with simple, everyday ingredients and no preservatives.
✨ WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
• Fresh-milled flavour.
We mill our organic wheat in small batches using our stone mill at Tevah Acres — giving these cookies a naturally rich, warm, nutty depth you’ll never get from store-bought flour.
• A signature grain blend.
This mix includes Hard White, Soft White, and Red Fife — a heritage grain known for its beautiful flavour and gentle strength. It creates a cookie that holds its shape, stays chewy, and tastes authentically “homemade.”
• Real vanilla bean + brown sugar warmth.
You’ll see tiny flecks of vanilla bean throughout the dough. The brown sugar brings moisture and caramel notes without added syrups.
• Sourdough starter magic — without the sour.
Just a teaspoon of our organic dehydrated starter adds depth, aroma, and a gorgeous bake… with zero tang.
• Make it your own.
Use softened butter for a classic cookie, or brown the butter for a deep, nutty, café-style version.

HOW TO BAKE
Classic Chewy Cookies

Cream the butter and egg.
In a bowl, cream ½ cup butter or margarine (softened) with 1 egg until smooth and well combined. -
Add the cookie mix.
Pour in the entire pouch and mix for 1–2 minutes.
The dough will look crumbly at first — keep mixing — it will come together into a firm, pliable dough. -
Scoop and bake.
Scoop onto a parchment-lined baking tray.
Bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, until the edges are a light golden brown. -
Cool on the tray.
Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet so the centres stay soft and chewy.
✨ Brown Butter Upgrade (Highly Recommended)
For café-style depth and caramel notes:
- Melt your ½ cup butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Continue cooking until it foams, sizzles, and turns a deep golden brown with a nutty aroma.
- Remove from heat and cool completely (this prevents cooking the egg).
- Proceed with the recipe as usual.
This version bakes up extra fragrant, rich, and golden.

STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture.
Best used within 2–3 months for optimal freshness.
